Hello, I’m Michael Wibe, the founder of Live Oak Bookkeeping. With over six years of small business management experience, I launched Live Oak Bookkeeping in 2017 with a clear vision: to empower businesses with organized and efficient financial management.
Throughout my career, bookkeeping has always been a focus and passion. I’ve enjoyed bringing order to the numbers and continually learning new strategies to help businesses run smoothly. At Live Oak Bookkeeping, I’m committed to helping our clients gain confidence and control over their finances, providing peace of mind so they can focus on what they do best.
On the personal side, I’m a dedicated family man. I am blessed with a wonderful wife and three amazing children—two sons and a princess. As a family, we cherish long road trips, home improvement projects, and more recently, youth groups, and community activities. Family is my “why.” I built this business to have the freedom to be present in their lives, whether it’s joining in on a mission trip, or simply enjoying quality time together around a fire.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, playing mahjong or pickleball, or diving into a good book.
